As a Mortgage Administrator in the financial services industry, based in Glasgow, you'll play a key role in supporting the smooth handling of mortgage applications and related processes. Your day-to-day work will help ensure the administrative side of the business runs efficiently and accurately.

Description

  • Process mortgage applications and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately.
  • Maintain and update internal systems with applicant and loan information.
  • Communicate with clients and third parties to follow up on outstanding information.
  • Prepare and send relevant correspondence to clients and stakeholders.
  • Handle incoming queries related to mortgage applications and provide timely responses.
  • Assist with compliance checks and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Support the wider team with general administrative tasks as needed.
  • Monitor and track the progress of applications, ensuring deadlines are met.

Profile

A successful Mortgage Administrator should have:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in administrative roles, ideally within financial services.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a focus on accuracy.
  • Familiarity with mortgage processes or financial services terminology is beneficial.

  • Salary £25,000 Pro-Rata
  • Fixed-term contract with clear responsibilities and structure, high likelihood of contract extension or turning to perm.
