Are you an experienced Insolvency Administrator ready to take the next step in your career?

Wilkins Talent Solutions is recruiting a Senior Insolvency Administrator to join the Restructuring team of a growing and ambitious accountancy and advisory firm in Glasgow.

This is a great opportunity for someone who already has strong insolvency experience and wants greater ownership of complex cases, increased responsibility and a clear route for career progression.

You'll manage a varied portfolio of insolvency cases from appointment through to closure, combining technical casework with client and stakeholder communication while also supporting more junior members of the team.

What will you be doing?

You'll take responsibility for your own portfolio of complex insolvency cases, ensuring everything is delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing insolvency cases from appointment through to closure
  • Managing a varied and complex caseload
  • Preparing statutory documentation, correspondence and reports
  • Ensuring casework complies with insolvency legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records
  • Identifying and resolving issues throughout the lifecycle of a case
  • Managing competing priorities and deadlines
  • Supporting the supervision and coordination of team workloads
  • Providing technical guidance to less experienced colleagues
  • Deputising for members of the management team when required
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
  • Building strong relationships with clients, creditors and other stakeholders
  • Maintaining high standards of confidentiality, compliance and professional judgement

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who already has proven insolvency industry experience and is comfortable managing their own caseload.

You'll ideally have:

Strong insolvency case administration experience

Experience managing a varied and complex portfolio of cases

Good technical knowledge of insolvency legislation and compliance requirements

An appropriate professional qualification such as CPI, CPPI, CPCI or equivalent

Experience working within professional services

Strong organisational and case-management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication

Confidence dealing with clients, creditors and other stakeholders

Experience using insolvency case-management systems

Strong attention to detail

The ability to work independently while supporting the wider team

Why consider this opportunity?

As well as joining a growing Restructuring team, you'll receive a strong benefits package including:

Hybrid working – up to 40% remote

32 days' annual leave

Option to buy up to 5 additional days' holiday

Additional paid leave for special occasions including your birthday and moving home

TOIL for additional hours worked, subject to business requirements and approval

Contributory pension

Paid professional membership fees

24/7 Employee Assistance Programme

Shopping, travel and lifestyle discounts

Employee and client referral rewards

Dedicated volunteering opportunities

Annual employee awards

Regular social events

First-class coaching, mentoring and structured development

Genuine career progression

This could be particularly attractive if you've reached the point where you want to move beyond pure case administration.

The firm has a strong track record of developing and promoting people internally, with clearly defined career pathways, ongoing coaching and opportunities to develop your leadership skills through supporting and supervising junior colleagues.

If you're an experienced Insolvency Administrator or Senior Insolvency Administrator looking for more responsibility, flexibility and long-term progression, I'd love to speak with you.
