Private Client Tax Assistant Manager - #2139023

Crowe Watson Recruitment is proud to be supporting a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Glasgow as they look to appoint a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to join their well-established tax team, offering flexible working, a strong company pension, and much more. You will work closely with Partners and senior colleagues on a varied caseload of private clients, including high net worth individuals, trusts, and business owners, gaining excellent exposure to complex and interesting tax planning work.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, including HNWIs, trusts, and business owners
• Review tax returns and provide technical support to junior team members
• Assist Partners with tax planning and advisory projects
• Identify tax planning opportunities and support clients with implementation
• Liaise directly with clients and HMRC on a range of private client tax matters

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• ATT/CTA qualified or qualified by experience
• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge of private client tax compliance and planning
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships
• Proven ability to manage a portfolio and mentor junior staff
