We’re currently recruiting for a Trainer to join our client’s internal Learning & Development team. This is a varied role, with responsibility for designing and delivering sector-specific training to employees and key stakeholders across the organisation. You’ll work closely with operational and service-delivery teams to ensure staff have the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to support people experiencing homelessness and other vulnerabilities. Salary up to £35,000. What makes this role particularly interesting is that it’s not purely classroom-based. You’ll have the opportunity to identify training needs, develop new learning programmes and help shape the organisation’s wider training offering.

You’ll be responsible for:
- Scoping, designing and delivering engaging training to a range of audiences.
- Identifying training needs and opportunities across the organisation.
- Developing new learning content and continually improving existing training.
- Exploring potential external training partnerships and working with relevant organisations.
- Working closely with operational and service-delivery teams to understand their requirements.
- Ensuring training remains relevant and reflects changing organisational and service needs.
- Bringing creativity and innovation to the way training is delivered.
- A relevant social-care qualification at SVQ Level 3 or above.
- A recognised training qualification, or a willingness to work towards one.
- Previous experience within the care, social-care or charity sector.
- Experience developing and delivering training to different audiences.
- Experience identifying training needs and creating appropriate learning materials.
- Knowledge of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and the wider social-care environment.
- Strong communication and practical problem-solving skills.
- A creative and innovative approach to training, with the ability to adapt to changing organisational priorities.
