Hays are delighted tobe supporting a charitable organisation in the recruitment of a Part-TimeFinance Assistant to join their finance team on an ongoing temporary basis.
This is a flexibleopportunity offering approximately 21 hours per week, which can be workedacross 3, 4 or 5 days, depending on individual preference. The role offers ahybrid working arrangement, with some office-based collaboration required tosupport the wider finance team. Your new role

Joining a busy financefunction, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day transactionalfinance activities and ensuring financial processes are maintained accuratelyand efficiently.
Duties will include:

• Managing and monitoring the finance inbox
• Processing supplier invoices and matching them to purchase orders
• Chasing invoice approvals and resolving queries
• Posting invoices onto Sage 50
• Supporting weekly payment runs
• Reviewing and processing employee expenses
• Assisting with bank reconciliations
• Providing general finance administration support as required

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered forthis role, you will have:

• Previous experience within a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or Finance Administration role
• Working knowledge of Sage 50
• Experience of invoice processing and transactional finance procedures
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• The ability to manage your workload effectively within a small team environment
• A proactive and hands-on approach
• Confidence in picking up new systems and processes quickly
