Corporate Tax Solicitor (2+ PQE)

Looking to develop a specialist career in Corporate Tax? This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE to join a respected Glasgow team advising on the tax aspects of corporate, commercial and property transactions.

Working closely with corporate and commercial colleagues, you’ll gain exposure to a broad range of transactional and advisory matters while building specialist expertise in a highly sought-after area of practice.

The role

As a Corporate Tax Solicitor, you'll advise clients and colleagues on the tax implications of a wide range of business and property transactions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising on the tax structuring of corporate transactions and reorganisations
• Supporting business sales, acquisitions and investment projects
• Advising on LBTT, SDLT, VAT and other transaction-related tax issues
• Assisting with employee share schemes and employment tax matters
• Drafting and reviewing tax-related documentation
• Supporting clients across a variety of sectors and industries
• Contributing to client training, seminars and legal updates

About you

This role would suit a Solicitor who:

• Has 2+ years’ PQE in corporate, commercial, tax or transactional work
• Has an interest in developing specialist tax expertise
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Is comfortable managing a varied workload
• Communicates clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues
• Takes a commercial and practical approach to problem-solving
• Enjoys building relationships and contributing to business development activities
