Join an established residential housebuilder as a Quantity Surveyor and take commercial responsibility for exciting housing developments across Glasgow.

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established residential housebuilder with the recruitment of a Quantity Surveyor.

Permanent, full-time position based in Glasgow, with travel to sites.

Monday - Friday

Salary

Key Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of housing developments
• Manage projects from initial procurement through to final account
• Set, monitor and manage project budgets
• Place subcontractor and supplier orders
• Produce accurate commercial reports and cost forecasts
• Monitor material costs and project expenditure
• Liaise closely with subcontractors, site teams and other internal departments
• Ensure commercial activity is completed in line with company procedures
• Support and provide guidance to junior members of the commercial team
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout project delivery

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction
• Residential housebuilding experience would be highly advantageous
• Strong commercial, budgeting and cost-management experience
• Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification such as a degree, HND or equivalent
• RICS qualification or progress towards professional accreditation would be beneficial
• Full UK driving licence required
