Senior Associate Solicitor | Professional Indemnity | 8+ Years' PQE

Glasgow | Hybrid (Minimum 2 Days in Office)

A specialist Professional Indemnity team with a growing Scottish presence is looking for an experienced Litigation Lawyer to join its Glasgow office. You'll get exposure to complex, high-value disputes and work closely with major insurers and professional clients across the UK.

This role suits a Senior Lawyer who enjoys technically challenging work, owning significant claims and helping shape a growing team.

The role

You'll manage complex claims end-to-end, advising insurers and professional clients on liability, coverage and strategy and resolving intricate factual and technical issues with clear, pragmatic advice. Alongside your own caseload, you'll supervise junior colleagues, contribute to team development and support business development as the Scottish practice continues to grow.

About you

• 8+ years' PQE (5+ PQE with solid litigation experience also welcomed)
• Background in professional indemnity or related litigation (eg commercial litigation, clinical negligence)
• Confident managing complex claims independently
• Excellent analytical, drafting and organisational skills
• Relationship-builder with insurers, professionals and colleagues
• Commercially aware, with an interest in contributing to the wider team
