Reed Accountancy are delighted to be working with a well-established and successful local company to recruit a Finance Administrator.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a supportive team in a varied role with a strong focus on accounts receivable and credit control. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining cash flow, managing customer accounts and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations.

The key responsibilities for the role are:

• Raising and processing high volume customer invoices accurately
• Managing accounts receivable activities and maintaining accurate financial records
• Proactively chasing outstanding payments and supporting credit control processes
• Producing weekly aged debt reports
• Completing bank reconciliations
• Processing financial transactions
• Investigating and resolving customer account and invoice queries
• Monitoring shared finance inboxes and responding to enquiries
• Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries
• Assisting with wider finance and ad-hoc administration duties as required

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience within a similar transactional accounts role
• A strong understanding of accounts receivable and credit control processes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as a strong attention to detail
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and wider Office suite, as well as accounts software
