Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor

Location: Glasgow, Central Scotland

Salary/Benefits: £25k - £42k DOE + Training & Benefits

This longstanding Asbestos Consultancy is recruiting for a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor, in Central Scotland, to cover new and existing contracts on a range of sites. You will be undertaking the full range of asbestos surveys, collecting samples and producing reports and providing technical advice to clients. Our client is renowned for supporting excellent further training into the Analytical and associated modules. Experience / Qualifications:

• Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, within an established outfit
• Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
• Well-versed in HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Flexible to changing client needs

The Role:

• Producing site-specific technical reports and accompanying schematic drawings
• Safely obtaining asbestos samples from site
• Conducting management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
• Re-inspection surveys
• Wearing correct PPE at all times
• Providing regular updates to clients
• Delivering samples to the lab for analysis
