An established independent property and construction consultancy is seeking a Senior or Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a unique long-term secondment opportunity based at Glasgow Airport. This role offers the chance to work client-side on a significant estate and infrastructure portfolio, supporting a range of capital projects within a complex operational environment.

Your new role
As a Senior/Associate Quantity Surveyor, you will be embedded within the client's project team, providing commercial and cost management expertise across a variety of refurbishment, infrastructure, estate improvement and capital investment projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Cost planning and budget management
• Procurement and tendering support
• Contract administration and commercial management
• Preparation and review of estimates, valuations and final accounts
• Risk management and cost reporting
• Managing project stakeholders and contractors
• Providing strategic commercial advice to project teams
• Supporting the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• MRICS qualified or working towards chartership (preferred)
• Proven consultancy or client-side Quantity Surveying experience
• Experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle
• Strong contract knowledge and commercial acumen
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work independently within a client-facing environment
• Experience within infrastructure, aviation, construction, property or major capital projects would be advantageous
