360 Excavator Operator (Shetland Island) - #2154380

We are looking for an experienced 360 Excavator Operator for a 7-month infrastructure project in the Shetland Islands.

The project involves approximately 1,500 metres of large open-cut trenching through fields and peatland, installing three 8-inch power ducts and fibre optic cables, plus a further 2,400 metres of trenching along a carriageway, including tarmac reinstatement.

• Experienced 360 Excavator Operator
• Experience operating 8-tonne or 14-tonne excavators
• Experience laying/reinstating tarmac is essential
• Previous utilities, ducting, trenching or infrastructure experience preferred
• Fit and capable of working on a demanding outdoor project
• Reliable and able to commit to the full rotation
• References required from previous employers
• Relevant CPCS/NPORS qualification required

11 days on / 4 days off, with travel to and from Shetland and accommodation paid for by the client.
