  • Produce high-quality maps and figures to support development, consenting, land, environmental and stakeholder engagement activities.

  • Prepare mapping outputs for reports, presentations, workshops, landowner discussions and regulatory submissions.

  • Undertake ad hoc GIS analysis to support project decision making.

  • Provide advice on GIS best practice, data standards and spatial data management.

What You’ll Deliver:

  • Organised and maintained GIS data repository.

  • GIS data packages for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Project maps, plans and figures as requested.

  • GIS analyses and supporting spatial data outputs.

  • Recommendations for improving GIS data management and project GIS processes.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience working with GIS and spatial data in a professional environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of GIS software and spatial data management.

  • Experience working with GIS datasets such as shapefiles and geodatabases.

  • Experience producing clear, accurate and professional maps, plans and figures.

  • Experience undertaking spatial analysis, such as spatial queries, constraint analysis or route assessments.

  • Strong understanding of coordinate systems, metadata, data formats and GIS data management principles.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to managing spatial information.

  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing priorities and ad hoc requests.

This is a part-time role working 5 hours per week (typically across Tuesdays and/or Thursdays), with flexibility depending on project requirements. This will be for a temporary period of 5 months.
