Yates Hellier

Property Manager, Glasgow

Up to £32,500 + annual bonus | Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours

Yates Hellier is a founder-owned Glasgow agency covering residential lettings, property management and sales. We’ve built our name over more than a decade by doing things properly: looking after landlords’ property as if it were our own, and giving clients a service they can’t get elsewhere.

We’re looking for an experienced Property Manager to take on their own portfolio of residential properties across Glasgow. You’ll already be doing this job in Scotland, and you’ll want to work where standards are high and good work gets noticed.

What you’ll do

  • Own a portfolio of residential properties from tenancy start to checkout, as the main point of contact for your landlords (using SME)
  • Keep every property fully compliant, with all safety certificates and regulatory requirements tracked and up to date (using Fixflo)
  • Get to the root of maintenance issues, and raise and manage jobs quickly and cost-effectively
  • Make sure every property has a detailed, objective inventory before the tenancy starts and a thorough checkout report at the end
  • Manage the inspection schedule for your portfolio, and make sure landlords get clear, detailed reports after every visit
  • Negotiate deposit deductions fairly and efficiently, and manage the release through SafeDeposits Scotland
  • Work closely with our sales and lettings teams
  • Keep your knowledge current through ongoing training and industry events

What you’ll bring

  • At least 2 years’ experience in residential property management in Scotland
  • Propertymark Level 6 Scottish Residential Letting & Property Management qualification, or equivalent
  • Clear, confident and professional communication, both written and on the phone
  • A solid practical understanding of property maintenance
  • Complete integrity, and real care for the people you look after
  • A full, clean driving licence

What we offer

  • Up to £32,500 plus an annual performance bonus
  • Private health and dental insurance (after one year’s service)
  • Holidays that grow with service: 28 days including bank holidays, rising by one day per year served, up to to 32 days.
  • Workplace pension
  • Electric car salary sacrifice scheme through Octopus EV
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • New client referral scheme
  • Fully funded Propertymark training and CPD qualifications
  • Use of company pool cars
  • Monthly team lunches and regular team events
  • Supportive, ambitious team culture

The role is subject to satisfactory references.
