Department:
Drainage/Depot Network consists of a strategically located depot network across the UK, spanning from Aberdeen to Plymouth. Enabling rapid response to customer requirements and providing round-the-clock coverage, 365 days a year.
This extensive footprint allows Lanes to combine local responsiveness with national capability, ensuring consistent service standards while maintaining close relationships with regional customers and infrastructure partners.
Purpose of the Role:
The Administrator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the drainage business by ensuring all administrative, customer service, and data management tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. The role helps maintain smooth communication between customers, engineers, supervisors, and management teams while supporting the successful delivery of drainage, CCTV, and repair works.

The role helps maintain smooth communication between customers, engineers, supervisors, and management teams while supporting the successful delivery of drainage, CCTV, and repair works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raising work packs on in house system (training provided)
- Scheduling / programming jetting engineers
- Invoicing completed work packs
- Email management
- Weekly payroll submission
- RAMS/street works noticing (training will be provided)
- Answering phone calls into depot
- Raising of Purchase orders
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft packages/ Excel and general admin experience
- Good customer service skills
- Knowledge of Scottish water workings would be beneficial but not essential
- Location: Glasgow
- Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
- Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 p.a. dependant on experience
