IT Technician - #2166031

My client seeks to recruit 2 IT Technicians to work on site in Glasgow providing a support function to upgrade several firmware assets.

You will have previous experience of working in an IT environment and be confident to liaise with other team members to schedule next steps such and strong communication skills to allow.

Upgrade times: Allow at least one hour per device. Older devices may require two hours or more because several firmware versions must be installed sequentially before the latest release can be enabled.

• Experience: The work is not highly technical, but candidates should be comfortable working in an IT environment and following defined technical procedures.
• Training: Business Continuity will provide full training, including a documented sequence of firmware upgrade steps.
• Delivery model: Progress will be target-driven, with each engineer assigned to one site at a time, allowing for two sites to be upgraded simultaneously.
