Harvey Nash Executive Search is delighted to be partnering with our Glasgow based client to find their new Head of Technology Delivery. This is classic hybrid role, within a private sector client where the successful individual will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of complex Technology Programmes globally for our client as well as evolving and embedding best practice programme governance/ reporting etc. The appointed individual will help build out maturity across their programme function, be personally responsible for the delivery of key IT programmes and truly drive the deliverables via all third-party suppliers.

This role is on site in Glasgow, non negotiable so we are looking for locally based candidates who can commit to working on our client's site.

As this is a fast paced, medium sized private sector environment we are looking for candidates from a similar background. Our ideal candidates will come from retail, manufacturing, engineering or similar mid sized complex global business.

Your experience will be specific to technology, having progressed from a technical background into the most senior level of Programme Delivery.

• Extensive experience as a permanent Head of Programme Delivery.
• A hybrid background spanning programme planning & delivery.
• Experience working to C-level – this is a senior, strategic appointment.
• Specific experience of delivering IT programmes across all demains from Infrastructure to Cloud, Applications and Digital transformation and, of course, AI adoption.
• Current and extensive experience within fast paced medium sized private sector – such as Retail, engineering, manufacturing, utilities.
• Experience of creating tgovernance frameworks to include budgeting, risk management; reporting etc.
• Highly skilled in change management within a wider business context; supporting the business through a new approach to programme planning & delivery.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to work to all levels within an organisation.
• Onsite role in Glasgow – not negotiable.
