Head of New Product Development (NPD) - #2171319

Are you an experienced engineering leader with proven experience in New Product Development. This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping future product, managing teams and executing major development successfully.

Some key responsibilities are:

• Lead and manage NPD portfolio, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop and execute the ND roadmap in line with business objectives.
• Drive accountability and governance to deliver against plan.
• Strong ownership and the ability to oversee and work in accordance with project managers and project teams.
• Champion innovation, continuous improvement, and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with customers, product teams and senior stakeholders to deliver market-leading solutions.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience in delivering NPD, R&D or innovation projects.
• Strong leadership background with experience managing, particularly within a technical setting.
• Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Experience delivering complex hardware or physical product development projects.
• Engineering degree qualified or similar qualification.
• Charted engineer (or able and willing to apply)
• Experience in the defence industry would be desired.
