Sales Engineer - Electrical

The Company Recruiting for Sales Engineer is a well established market leading manufacturer of plugs, sockets and bespoke socket solutions. With a presence in 90 countries world wide and more than 1600 employees, they have a heritage for quality, reliability and value. They have a small but close knit team of sales engineers in the UK with additional support from sales and marketing function in their South East office. Excellent product training in Germany and UK for all employees. The business has a great foundation of customers in the Wholesale and Contractors sector and is now looking to drive more opportunities for specification via M&E Consultants, M&E contractors and end users across education manufacturing, highways and residential. The key to finding these project leads is to be proactive and utilising their established wholesale network. Full autonomy in the role.

The Purpose of the role of Sales Engineer is to manage and grow a portfolio of independent electrical wholesalers within Scotland, to drive sales and opportunities to gain specifications. A mix of strong account management and maximising opportunities within electrical wholesale customers as well as developing opportunities to deliver CPD presentations and work on projects with specifiers. Candidates with experience in lighting, cabling, switchgear or associated electrical products will do very well. Candidates working for electrical wholesalers with a great knowledge of M&E Contractors should apply as should candidates selling to an electrical product to electrical wholesalers. Full training and support will be given on project meetings. There is strong project and technical support and an established base of spending customers but the opportunity to grow is exciting!

For the position of Sales Engineer - Electrical products, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

· 2 years or more working in field sales in a demand generation role
