If you're a Senior Energy Analyst with experience in wind energy assessment, yield analysis and renewable energy consultancy, and want to work on diverse onshore and offshore wind projects across international markets, submit your CV to apply today.

Responsibilities of the Senior Energy Analyst

Reporting to the UK Analytics Manager, you will:

  • Deliver complex wind energy yield assessments and supporting analytical studies.

  • Contribute to the development and improvement of global analytics methods, tools and technical processes.

  • Manage project budgets, financial reporting, delivery programmes and client expectations.

  • Undertake technical checking of analyses and reports, with the opportunity to act as an authorised approver.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, support business development activities, and assist with the preparation of tenders, bids and commercial proposals.

  • Participate in research and development initiatives, keeping up to date with industry developments and emerging methodologies.

  • Support the training, guidance and development of analysts within the team.

Required qualifications and experience

To be considered, you must have:

  • Experience technically checking wind energy yield assessments and supporting analyses.

  • Proficiency in Python, including the ability to understand, apply, review and test Python-based analytical tools.

  • Experience managing wind analytics projects, including budgets, programmes, client communications and delivery issues.

Desirable experience

It would be an advantage, but is not essential, to have:

  • Experience in offshore wind pre-construction yield analysis across international markets.

  • Experience carrying out technical due diligence on pre-construction or operational wind farm projects.

  • Experience completing pre-construction or post-construction yield assessments for solar farms.

  • Knowledge of hybrid renewable energy projects involving wind, solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

  • Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm.

  • Location: Glasgow, with hybrid and remote working options.

  • Benefits: Opportunity to work on diverse international renewable energy projects, contribute to research and development, and support professional development within an experienced technical team.
