Senior Project Manager (Property - PM Consultancy) - #2181204
CPC Project Services
Role: Senior Project Manager (full-time, permanent)
Office: Glasgow
CPC is an independent project and cost management consultancy, providing the best technical expertise in delivering infrastructure, property and transformational change projects that are improving people’s lives both at work and at home. Our people are dedicated to meeting our clients’ needs, unified by a core set of values and behaviours that bring the right knowledge, experience and a fresh approach to unlocking every project’s full potential.
CPC are currently looking to strengthen our growing Property & Construction team in Glasgow. We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager, or a Project Manager looking to step up. You will be working alongside our existing team, with a major blue-chip client, across a portfolio of six retail parks throughout Scotland.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work beyond traditional construction project management. Alongside delivering projects across the retail portfolio, you will become closely involved in the development and asset management process, working with the client and wider professional teams to take opportunities from early commercial discussions through to delivery. Our existing retail work combines project delivery with activities including tenant negotiations, Heads of Terms, Agreements for Lease, shell specifications, feasibility studies and retail park expansion and asset-management projects.
Ideally, you will have:
- Significant experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within a consultancy, developer, investor or client-side environment
- Strong experience within retail, commercial property or mixed-use development
- Experience working on retail parks, shopping centres or multi-site property portfolios
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously across a geographically dispersed portfolio
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills
- A relevant construction, property or project management qualification
- Ideally, chartered status or progress towards membership of a relevant professional body such as RICS or APM
- An understanding of the landlord and tenant process, particularly where leasing decisions interact with construction and development
- Experience preparing or reviewing shell specifications and landlord/tenant scopes
CPC - Big enough to deliver but small enough to care
In addition to a competitive salary, CPC Project Services provides comprehensive benefits including private pension, private healthcare, holidays, assistance with private professional membership subscriptions, training and development, personal performance based bonus and annual salary review.
We encourage you to apply even if your experience is not a 100% match for this position. We are looking for someone with relevant skills and experience, not a checklist that exactly matches the job description. We want to help you grow and in return, you help us grow into a stronger, more inclusive organisation.
CPC is an equal opportunities employer and as a Disability Confident employer, we welcome applications from disabled individuals and provide various opportunities for career development in an inclusive environment.
