AI Software Engineer – Generative AI / Agentic AI - #2183754

We are recruiting now for an experienced AI Software Engineer (Generative AI / Agentic AI) to join a leading global Bank! You will help develop the next generation of intelligent applications and enterprise AI solutions for this leading Financial Services organisation.

This is a hands-on engineering role, working with modern Generative AI technologies to build scalable, secure and reliable applications.

What we're looking for:

• Strong software engineering background, developing and delivering production-quality applications.
• Practical experience with Generative AI, LLMs and Agentic AI.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering and context management.
• Hands-on development of AI agents, orchestration workflows and tool integrations.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and strong software engineering practices.
• Understanding of secure development, testing and enterprise environments.

Nice to have:

• Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent frameworks.
• Experience integrating multiple AI models and providers.
• Financial services or other regulated industry experience.
• Experience mentoring engineers or contributing to engineering best practices.

Location: Knutsford, Manchester or Glasgow

Salary: Up to £70,000 + Benefits

Employment: Permanent

Hybrid working: x3 days in the office per week and x2 days remote.
