Enterprise Architect - #2185191

We're working with one of Scotland's fastest-growing technology businesses as they invest heavily in the next stage of their cloud and infrastructure capability.

They're looking for an experienced Enterprise Infrastructure Architect to take technical ownership of a large, complex customer estate and lead a multi-year infrastructure modernisation programme.

This is a senior, hands-on architecture role where you'll set the target state, define the roadmap and remain accountable for the technical direction through migration and delivery.

• Owning the architecture across compute, storage, networking, backup, DR and security.
• Setting the target architecture and roadmap for a large-scale infrastructure modernisation.
• Leading migration waves, platform modernisation, decommissioning and service cutovers.
• Producing HLDs and LLDs that engineering teams can genuinely build from.
• Driving Infrastructure as Code and platform automation.
• Acting as the senior technical voice with the customer across architecture boards, CABs and design forums.

• Experience taking end-to-end ownership of a large customer estate.
• A background in major infrastructure transformation, migration or data centre programmes.
• Deep technical knowledge across core infrastructure technologies.
• Strong customer-facing skills with the confidence to defend architectural decisions at a senior level.
• Experience with IaC, automation, cost modelling and technical governance.
• Public sector, regulated environment, TOGAF and hybrid/cloud experience would be beneficial.
