Management Accountant | Glasgow city centre | £40,000–£50,000

VNI Finance is recruiting on behalf of a global manufacturer investing in its Scottish operations as it grows its presence in the UK renewable energy supply chain. You’ll have support from experienced finance colleagues and the opportunity to shape how the business reports and understands its performance as it grows.

What you’ll do

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Explain what’s driving changes in revenue, manufacturing costs and margins, and discuss the findings with operational colleagues.
• Help budget holders build budgets and forecasts, and support cash flow and working capital reporting.
• Support year-end and audit work, and improve reporting and finance processes as the business grows.

What you’ll bring

• You’ll be part-qualified and working towards ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent qualification, or recently qualified.
• You’ll have hands-on month-end experience in an industry finance team, be comfortable with Excel, and be able to explain the numbers clearly to colleagues outside finance.
• Exposure to budgeting and forecasting is helpful. If you’ve supported those processes and want to take on more responsibility, this role gives you room to do that.
