Luxury Hospitality & International Hotel Projects

£40,000-£46,000

Confero Recruitment Group is acting as the recruitment partner to a highly regarded interior design practice with an established reputation for delivering exceptional hospitality environments across the UK and internationally.

With a portfolio that includes luxury hotels, premium hospitality destinations and multi-million-pound developments, this award winning studio is renowned for creating memorable guest experiences through thoughtful, commercially successful and beautifully executed design.

Due to continued growth within their Glasgow team, we are seeking a talented Senior Interior Designer who can confidently lead projects from concept through to delivery, balancing creativity with commercial awareness and technical excellence. This is an opportunity to work on some of the industry's most prestigious hotel and hospitality projects, collaborating directly with high profile clients, operators and stakeholders.

Why Join This Practice?

This is a rare opportunity to become part of a design-led team delivering luxury hospitality projects on an international stage.

You'll have the chance to influence every stage of the design process, from initial concepts and client presentations through to detailed design development and project completion. Working on high-value projects for internationally recognised hotel brands and hospitality operators, you'll play a key role in creating spaces that elevate the guest experience whilst meeting commercial objectives.

The studio offers a collaborative environment where creativity is encouraged, ideas are valued and individuals are trusted with genuine project ownership.

The Role

As a Senior Interior Designer, you'll take ownership of luxury hospitality projects, managing multiple workstreams whilst maintaining exceptional design quality and client relationships.

You will be responsible for translating client briefs into innovative, commercially successful interiors that combine creativity, functionality and operational efficiency.

Working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and internal design teams, you'll ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of luxury hospitality and high end hotel projects from concept to completion
  • Develop compelling design narratives, mood boards, material palettes and FF&E specifications
  • Produce and oversee presentation packages that effectively communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with hotel operators, developers and project teams through confident and professional client-facing engagement
  • Manage project programmes, resources and design deliverables across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, suppliers and contractors throughout the design process
  • Oversee technical drawing packages and detailed interior documentation
  • Balance creative ambition with project budgets, operational requirements and commercial objectives
  • Attend client meetings, workshops and presentations, representing the practice with professionalism and confidence
  • Support and mentor junior designers, helping develop technical and creative capability across the team
  • Monitor design quality and ensure projects are delivered in line with programme, budget and client expectations

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' experience within Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • Proven experience delivering high-end hospitality, luxury hotel or premium leisure projects
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity, originality and an exceptional eye for detail
  • Experience leading projects through all RIBA stages from concept design through to completion
  • Excellent client-facing skills with the confidence to present ideas, build relationships and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of balancing design aspirations with budgetary considerations
  • Ability to effectively manage workload, prioritise competing deadlines and oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong technical capability with experience producing detailed drawing and specification packages
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Revit experience would be advantageous
  • A personable, collaborative and proactive approach with excellent communication skills
  • Passion for creating outstanding guest experiences through innovative interior design

What's On Offer

  • £40,000-£46,000 depending on experience
  • Opportunity to work on prestigious international hotel and hospitality projects
  • Exposure to multi-million-pound developments for recognised hospitality brands
  • Significant client-facing responsibility and project ownership
  • A highly creative and collaborative studio environment
  • Clear progression opportunities within a growing design team
  • Hybrid working flexibility
  • Ongoing professional development and mentoring support
  • The opportunity to contribute to award-winning projects that shape luxury hospitality environments worldwide
