Because People Matter.

Turning Point Scotland is one of Scotland's leading social care organisations, supporting people facing some of the most complex challenges in their lives.

With more than 1,300 colleagues delivering services across Scotland, we have a proud history of innovation, person-centred support and making a positive difference to the communities we serve.

We are now seeking an exceptional Director of Business Development & Improvement to join our Executive Team and play a central role in shaping our future.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will lead our approach to business development, tendering and sustainable growth, alongside a diverse portfolio of corporate functions including training and development, communications, policy, data and analytics, strategy implementation, citizenship and service user involvement. This is a significant strategic leadership role, requiring someone who combines a strong understanding of social care with commercial acumen, entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to turn opportunities into sustainable, high-quality services.

You will bring substantial senior leadership experience, a demonstrable track record of securing complex competitive tenders and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, develop influential partnerships and deliver meaningful organisational change.

Equally importantly, you will be a collaborative, values-led leader who brings fresh thinking, sound judgement and constructive challenge to an experienced Executive Team.

At a time of considerable change and challenge across the social care sector, this is an opportunity to influence the future direction of a respected national organisation, strengthen its sustainability and help ensure that the people we support remain at the heart of everything we do.

If you share our commitment to making a difference and have the experience and ambition to help lead Turning Point Scotland into its next chapter, we would be delighted to hear from you.
