A rare opportunity has arisen to join Trident Building Consultancy’s established Glasgow team.
We’re looking for a Chartered Senior Building Surveyor (MRICS) seeking a varied role across professional and project work, with direct client exposure and genuine scope for career progression.
This is an opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor looking for a varied role with a strong mix of professional and project work. The successful candidate will work with a wide range of clients across different commercial property sectors and asset types, with direct exposure to clients and their advisers.
The role will include:
- Acquisition and building surveys
- Dilapidations surveys, strategy and negotiations
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Contract administration and project management
- Refurbishment, repair and fit-out projects
- Preparation of specifications and tender documentation
- Defect investigation and technical advice
- Statutory compliance advice
- Liaison with clients, contractors, managing agents, solicitors and other property professionals
A key part of the role will be developing strong client relationships, understanding our clients' commercial objectives and providing practical advice to help achieve them.
The position also provides the opportunity to build a network of local and national contacts, working alongside property agents, managing agents, solicitors and other professionals across the commercial property market.
We are looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with good experience across both professional and project building surveying. The successful candidate should be comfortable managing their own instructions, dealing directly with clients and taking responsibility for projects from inception through to completion.
