A growing, forward-thinking organisation is looking for an experienced and driven Regional Development to drive business development and client relationship management across Scotland and Northern Ireland.

This is a pivotal role focussed on public sector client and construction industry

engagement.

The Role

In this role, you'll take ownership of client accounts and project opportunities, presenting tailored solutions to support delivery through framework agreements. Working with both internal teams and external stakeholders, you’ll be instrumental in driving growth and maintaining high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver client development plans
• Engage and influence public sector clients across construction and professional services
• Present strategic solutions and secure projects via framework agreements
• Oversee project procurement, ensuring alignment with client requirements
• Build relationships with contractors and consultants in the region
• Represent the organisation at local, regional, and national industry events
• Continuously develop knowledge of industry trends
• Identify opportunities for regional growth and improved market share

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• A successful background in business or account management
• Strong experience in engaging with the public sector and the construction industry
• Knowledge of pre-construction processes from both client and contractor perspectives
• Familiarity with the RIBA Plan of Work and public sector delivery structures
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills
• A commercial mindset and strategic approach to regional business development
