If you're due to qualify shortly or have recently qualified and are wondering what your next step should look like, this is definitely an opportunity worth exploring.
I am working with a really good firm that has an excellent reputation, a genuinely supportive team and, importantly, a real commitment to helping its people develop and progress.
This is a growing private practice where you will be encouraged to take on responsibility, develop your confidence and build your experience, but with plenty of support from experienced colleagues along the way. You'll also enjoy good flexibility and a working environment where people are valued.
The work itself is varied and interesting, covering road traffic accidents and other personal injury claims. You'll manage your own caseload, deal with liability disputes, draft and raise court actions, negotiate settlements and gain valuable experience appearing in the Sheriff Court, including at hearings and proofs.
What I particularly like about this opportunity is that you won't simply be left to get on with things. You'll have access to experienced solicitors who are happy to share their knowledge, involve you in more complex cases and help you develop your litigation and advocacy skills.
There is genuine scope for progression too, so for someone who is keen to build a long-term career in Personal Injury, this could be a really good move.
If you're looking for a firm where you can enjoy the work, feel supported, have flexibility and see a future for yourself, I'd love to tell you more.
For a confidential discussion, please contact Deborah Collier at QED Legal.
