Spanish Language - Payroll Assistant - #2190318

We’re supporting our client, a global organisation, in their search for a Spanish-speaking Payroll Assistant to join their Glasgow team. This is a great opportunity for someone who speaks Spanish fluently and wants to build a career in international payroll in a supportive, collaborative environment.

You’ll help deliver accurate, on-time payroll for employees in [Spain / Latin America], working with colleagues and external payroll providers in Spanish and English.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the end-to-end payroll process for [Spain / Spanish-speaking countries]
• Gathering, checking and entering payroll data, including starters, leavers, changes and absences
• Liaising in Spanish with external payroll providers, local teams and employees
• Answering payroll queries quickly and accurately
• Helping with payroll reconciliations and checks before sign-off
• Preparing reports and keeping payroll records accurate
• Supporting audits and compliance checks
• Helping to improve processes and documentation

What we’re looking for

Essential

• Fluent written and spoken Spanish, plus a good standard of English
• Experience in payroll, finance or a similar administrative role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
• Good organisation, with the ability to manage deadlines
• A proactive approach and a willingness to learn
