Construction & Civils Solutions Ltd are working with a well known Tier one contractor who are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their team in the West of Scotland.


Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge? We’re a reputable and forward-thinking main contractor with a strong pipeline of diverse and exciting projects across education, health care and commercial sectors in the West of Scotland. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team.


What You’ll Do:



  • Manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from initial estimates to final accounts.

  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver successful outcomes.

  • Ensure projects are completed within budget and provide value for money.

  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.

  • Monitor project progress and keep accurate records of variations and contractual issues.

  • Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts.


What We’re Looking For:



  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with a main contractor.

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and industry regulations.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

  • Proficient in the use of relevant software (e.g., MS Excel, CostX, Bluebeam, etc.).

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.
