Join our Vodafone Business Technology Solutions team, where we support businesses of all sizes with world-class technology solutions. We design and develop our Fixed Line solutions, drive efficiency through automation and AI, and implement it all directly with our customers.

What You’ll Do

At Vodafone, we're looking for a passionate and driven individual to join us as a Operations Manager, dedicated to the Scottish Power Energy Networks (SPEN) account. If you have enjoy motivating people, managing complex projects, and driving transformational change, this could be the role for you.

As an Operations Manager, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that our team is efficiently managed and right-sized to meet our dynamic needs. You'll oversee complex deliveries, making sure they align with customer SLAs and exceed expectations. Your understanding of team processes will be crucial as you drive your team to achieve personal, team, and regional targets.

You'll also play a key role in maintaining your team's readiness for QMS and BSI audits, ensuring everyone adheres to Vodafone’s Health and Safety policy. Your input into transformational activities will support changes that drive our success. With a strong bias for action, you'll deliver results on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Plus, you'll ensure your team is equipped with the skills needed to meet current and future demands through comprehensive training programs.

Who You Are

  • Comprehensive knowledge within their primary technology field
  • Ability to motivate people within demanding and challenging environments
  • Ability to sustain performance under pressure and prioritise key deliverables
  • Ability to adapt to different business drivers and lead a team through complex change. Includes working as part of, and to manage, cross-functional ‘virtual’ teams
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and diplomatically assertive
  • ITIL Foundation level [desirable]
  • Experience of complex delivery
  • Confident articulate manner
