Duties And Responsibilities
OCU leads the way in end-to-end infrastructure engineering in the utilities, digital, and energy markets, specialising in safely and efficiently delivering complex client requirements. Our breadth of capabilities and depth of operational capacity, paired with our cutting-edge technology, ensure that we are not just part of the market; we are leading it.
Working directly with many of the country’s leading power, energy transition, water, telecoms and digital clients, we are looking for the very best talent to join our growing team.
The goal is to ensure that projects are cost-efficient and within budget, while also helping the company secure new business.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labour, equipment, and other resources.
- Review and analyse tender documents, contracts, and drawings. Prepare and submit tenders and proposals to clients.
- Identify potential project risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Provide detailed reports on costs and expenditures, helping ensure that projects are delivered within budget.
- Preferably a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 5 years’ experience in contracting. Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably in civil engineering or construction
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills to assess costs and project viability.
