Exciting Opportunity: Program Manager (Contractor) – Washington DC


Are you a results-driven professional with a passion for managing complex technical projects? Our client, an innovative technology company, is seeking a Program Manager to join their team and support a wide range of impactful programs.


The Role:


As a Program Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional results for U.S. Federal Government projects. Reporting to senior leadership, you’ll manage diverse programs across global teams, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and client satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead cross-functional technical projects involving internal and external stakeholders.

  • Develop detailed project plans and ensure successful execution.

  • Perform risk management and escalate issues as needed.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to achieve project goals.

  • Ensure technical feasibility and coordinate resources, vendors, and partners.

  • Attend conferences and maintain proficiency in relevant skills.


Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of experience in Project/Program Management.

  • Proven success in managing complex U.S. Federal Government projects.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

  • Certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE II are a plus.


Location:


This role is based in the Washington, DC area with hybrid arrangements possible. Candidates must be willing to travel regularly to the region.
