Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our vibrant Delivery practice in Glasgow, on a full-time, permanent basis. You will harness the power of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, gaining hands-on experience and creating significant value for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with governance, risk, and regulatory frameworks.
- Lead and coordinate a team of technical resources to deliver business and IT outcomes.
- Manage solution implementation, including scope, resources, schedule, and financials.
- Governance of projects through all phases.
- Identify key resources and manage stakeholders to ensure objectives are met.
- Issue management, risk assessment, and escalation as needed.
- Develop and maintain financial, resource, and work plans.
- Produce status reports regularly.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Experience in project management, including planning, financial management, estimation, and delivery focus. Experience in Financial Services is essential.
- Ability to lead teams across multiple sites, with excellent communication skills.
- Proven budget management and financial governance skills.
- Strong problem management and decision-making abilities.
- Experience liaising with IT suppliers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant project management qualifications or training.
- Sound business acumen and judgment.
- Ability to communicate technology challenges in business terms.
