- Support the global LCD Operations team in fulfilling business continuity planning and testing requirements, including the monitoring and response to business continuity incidents
- Assist the EMEA LCD Operations Vice President on the division's reporting, monitoring and escalation of operational risk and information security incidents
- Assist the global LCD Operations team on outsourcing inquiries related to the EMEA region
- Assist in the development of information security controls within LCD
- Work with stakeholders, including the Human Resources and Corporate Services, to facilitate a seamless personnel on-boarding and offboarding processes
- Office management and maintenance for LCD Glasgow and Budapest floors and equipment, including but not limited to:
- Office supply orders
- Health and safety responsibilities
- Locker allocations
- Issue management and escalation
- Senior visitor preparations
- Managing restricted floor access
- Maintain office communications and engagement efforts, including a newsletter and local events, aligning to EMEA LCD's broader priorities
- Ad-hoc project management and process improvement to identify and implement efficiencies across EMEA locations The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- 3 to 5 years of experience with a solid track record working in a professional environment
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills - ability to effectively correspond with various groups and senior professionals over email and the telephone
- Experience in stakeholder management with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across regions and Business Units
- Ability to think and research independently, form opinions and make decisions
- Pragmatic and analytical problem-solving skills - candidate needs to consistently apply sound judgment
- Ability to anticipate ahead of time and escalate issues as appropriate
- Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively handle a fast-paced environment
- Successfully meet established deadline requirements - display efficient time management skills
- Team player who can successfully manage multiple projects and priorities
- Ability to identify and recommend process efficiencies
- MS Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint proficiency is required)
