We focus on their wellbeing and development, offering access to education through our Erskine Waterfront Campus, local schools, further learning, and employment opportunities. With the right support, every young person here can feel valued, capable, and ready to reach their potential.

We’re looking for an experienced, confident Lead Practitioner to join our team at Finniescroft Farm, providing a safe, stable home for young people who’ve had a tough start in life.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead by example, supporting young people to grow in confidence, develop life skills, and build positive relationships. You’ll guide the team day to day, making sure every child gets the care, support, and opportunities they deserve.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building strong, trusting relationships with young people, helping them feel safe, valued, and included
  • Creating and managing individual care plans that put their needs, wellbeing, and development first
  • Leading and mentoring staff, making sure high standards of care and support are maintained
  • Working closely with families, schools, and other professionals to get the best outcomes for each young person
  • Supporting young people to engage with education, build independence, and be part of their community

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with young people in care, education, or support settings
  • A calm, reflective approach and the confidence to lead a team
  • Skills in developing care plans, managing risk, and promoting positive behaviour
  • An understanding of trauma, attachment, and therapeutic approaches
  • HNC Social Care and SVQ Level 3
  • Full UK Manual driving licence

This is your chance to step into a key leadership role where you can make a real, lasting difference to young people’s lives.

Ready to take the next step? Apply now and help us create a brighter future for every young person at Finniescroft Farm.

We also offer you a range of benefits that you would expect from an organisation that support others.

We even have access to a care concierge service to assist you with life's challenges, providing invaluable support when you need it most.

But we also know that your training and development is important to you, and as well as a contribution to your professional membership fees, we are keen to support you in making the right steps to learn, grow and develop in ways that are right for you.
