We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
The post holder will be responsible for day to day supervision of Health Records staff, prioritising workloads, granting leave and organising cover, maintaining workflow and ensuring that targets and deadlines are met.
The post holder is expected to respond to difficult situations involving patients or their relatives and may play a leading role in seeking resolution, and only escalating the problem to a more senior level where necessary.
Please note this is a GGC wide post and can be moved to any location, however initial base will be GRI.

- Hours : 16 hours per week
- Shift Pattern : Thurs & Fri 23:00 - 08:00

- Institute of Health Records and Information Management Supervisory Accreditation Certificate of Health Records and Information Management Certificate and/or significant previous Health Records Experience essential.
- Effective communication skills, Computer Literacy, Internet Skills, ability to use Initiative.
- It is also desirable that the candidate has extensive experience of using the Patient Management System (PMS).
