The shift pattern for this post is 7.5 hours over a 7 day service including public holidays.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic nurse to join the Neonatal Community Liaison team at The Royal Hospital For Children.
The Community Liaison nurse is an essential and pivotal role in facilitating safe and timely discharge from the neonatal unit. The post holder will work closely with the hospital and community multi-disciplinary team to coordinate delivery of care and support. You will be responsible for the assessment and provision of the highest quality medical and surgical care to neonates and their parents in the transition from hospital to the community setting. Full training and education will be given.
You must be an experienced Registered Nurse/Midwife with a qualification in neonatal specialty.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to organise and prioritise workload are essential. You will participate in whole week working and public holidays.
