The shift pattern for this post is 5 shifts per week over 7 days, including dayshifts and backshifts.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the District Nursing Service in East Dunbartonshire HSCP. We are committed to delivering high standards of safe, effective, person centred care using a Quality Improvement focus to improve outcomes and transform nursing services. The successful District Nurse (Registered Adult Nurse and District Nurse, Specialist Practitioner) will be responsible for the management of a caseload of community based patients, leading and managing a team of qualified nursing staff and health care support workers. They will function as an independent autonomous practitioner by virtue of in-depth knowledge, expertise, proficiency and experience to lead and enable the district nursing team to provide a high quality nursing service.
