Civil Engineer

This role involves contributing to technically focused design work across a range of schemes and offers hybrid working options. The successful candidate will produce high-quality engineering designs in line with relevant standards and best practices, ensuring efficient project execution.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Support the delivery of infrastructure projects by contributing to technically focused design work across a range of schemes.
- Produce engineering designs in line with relevant standards, codes, and best practice.
- Deliver efficient, high-quality engineering outputs to meet project requirements.
- Manage workload effectively while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Adhere to internal quality management and technical assurance processes.
- Work in accordance with recognised digital engineering practices, including BIM standards and project-specific execution plans.
- Maintain a proactive, collaborative, and professional approach when working with colleagues and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified to HND/Degree level in Civil Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven experience in the design and analysis of infrastructure elements including drainage, utilities, hardstanding, earthworks, access routes, and construction logistics.
- Strong understanding of current UK design standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with exposure to Revit and BIM-based collaboration tools considered advantageous.
- Competent in the use of drainage modelling software such as InfoDrainage or Flow, along with experience in undertaking swept path analysis.
- Open to adopting and utilising modern engineering technologies, including digital design tools, automation, and parametric modelling techniques.
