Description

• Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain and update accounts payable records in an organised manner.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare payment runs and ensure timely remittance to suppliers.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Respond to supplier queries in a professional and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:

• Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role within the FMCG sector.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment in Airdrie.
