We’re Hiring: Collections Agent | £29K (DOE) | Early Finish Fridays

Looking for a role where you can make a real difference to customers while hitting clear targets and working with a supportive team?

We’re recruiting a Collections Agent to join a close-knit team, helping customers get back on track with their payments in a fair, empathetic, and solutions-focused way.

Fully office-based

Monday–Thursday: 8am–4pm | Friday: 8am–3pm

What you’ll be doing

• Speaking with customers about overdue accounts
• Agreeing realistic and sustainable repayment plans
• Supporting customers with empathy while navigating challenging conversations
• Following up on missed payments and unpaid direct debits
• Keeping accurate records and working towards achievable targets
• Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies where needed

What we’re looking for

• Experience in collections, debt recovery, or call centre (preferred)
• Strong communication & negotiation skills
• Resilience and confidence handling difficult conversations
• A fair and customer-first mindset
• Organised, detail-focused, and driven to succeed
