Solutions Architect - #2088860

Harvey Nash is partnering with a well-established Glasgow-based organisation that is seeking an experienced AI Solutions Architect to join its team on a permanent basis.

This is a key position, responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation's AI strategy through the design, architecture, and implementation of innovative AI-driven solutions. The successful candidate will lead the development of production-ready systems powered by LLM’s, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and commercially efficient.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and delivering LLM-powered applications and GenAI solutions
• Leading the full lifecycle from prototyping through to production deployment
• Ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient
• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and shape AI use cases
• Driving best practice across AI engineering, architecture, and governance
• Mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership across the team
• Working closely with cyber/security teams to deliver responsible and secure AI solutions

Essential Skills and experience:

• Strong experience building AI / GenAI / LLM-based solutions
• Hands-on expertise across:
• RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search
• AI frameworks, orchestration, and model deployment
• Solid software engineering background in:
• Python, TypeScript, Node.js, or .NET
• Experience with APIs, cloud platforms, CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Strong understanding of secure and responsible AI design
