Area: Scotland (Central Belt)

We are working with a specialist industrial services business delivering hazardous waste, septic services and large-scale industrial waste solutions into some of the UK’s most heavily regulated environments.

This is a Business Development & Account Management field based role.

You will be selling into the industrial, manufacturing and petro-chemical sites, winning long-term service contracts where compliance, safety and operational risk matter every day.

The Role of Business Development Manager

• Winning new industrial waste and hazardous waste contracts
• Opening doors in complex, safety-critical environments
• Building long-term recurring revenue accounts
• Managing full 360 sales cycle (prospect → tender → close)
• Navigating procurement-led, compliance-driven decisions
• Working closely with operational teams to deliver contracts safely and effectively
• Building a strong pipeline across Scotland & surrounding industrial regions

The Candidate requirements for the Business Development Manager

• Proven experience in business development or sales within industrial services, hazardous waste, water services, waste, or related sectors
• An understanding of recycling compliance safety regulations
• Demonstrate strong negotiation and closing skills

The Package for the Business Development Manager

• Up to £55,000 basic salary
• Uncapped 20% OTE
• Company car or allowance £6,000
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
