You’re the kind of social media professional who walks into a client briefing, asks the question nobody else thought to ask, and leaves with a direction that excites the client. You understand that great social starts with understanding a brand deeply: its voice, its audience, its ambitions. And you know how to translate that into socially-native work that performs.

Tigerbond is an independent, integrated communications agency working with ambitious, high-profile brands. We’re looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to take real ownership across a portfolio of clients: from strategy and ideation through to execution and results. This is a hybrid role based in Glasgow.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading social strategy across a portfolio of clients, setting direction and making it stick across every touchpoint
• Managing client accounts on a day-to-day basis: staying across deliverables, timelines, and client communications with a high level of organisation and attention to detail
• Developing campaign ideas that go beyond individual posts: thinking across channels, considering the bigger picture, and articulating that vision clearly to clients and internal teams
• Owning client relationships at a senior level: presenting confidently, managing expectations, and being the person clients trust
• Leading on influencer and creator strategy for clients: identifying the right partnerships, guiding campaign execution, and ensuring collaborations are on-brand and results-driven
• Working closely with our PR and wider teams to bring social thinking into cross-channel campaigns, ensuring clients get the most from every activation
• Staying genuinely ahead of the social landscape: platforms, formats, culture, trends; and bringing that insight into the work

Who you are

You’re already operating at a senior level and you bring:

• Proven experience in social media at a senior level, either agency-side or in-house at a sizeable brand
• A portfolio that demonstrates strategic thinking, creative instincts, and results: not just output
• The confidence to present ideas, push back when needed, and hold your own in a room with senior stakeholders
• A genuine understanding of what works on social right now: the taste level to know good from great, and the instincts to know why
• Experience thinking at campaign level, with an understanding of how social sits within broader integrated communications
• Experience in influencer and creator marketing, with a strong sense of how to make partnerships work for a brand
• Strong communication and client management skills: you’re personable, credible and clear
• Comfortable getting hands-on with content when the brief requires it, but your instinct is always strategic first
