Do you have Firewall (Palo Alto), VPN, Cisco & F5 knowledge

Would you like to work for a global company who operate from prestigious offices in the centre of Glasgow, Its hybrid working, 3 days in the office.

My client is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join them on a 12 month fixed term contract basis (PAYE- salaried) *THIS IS NOT A DAILY RATE CONTRACT*

You will be providing day to day business as usual tasks supporting the backend IT systems and providing hands on 3rd line support for their Network infrastructure.

Your skills will include:

• Strong troubleshooting skills of complex network, system, and/or security problems.
• Be able to demonstrate in-depth network experience especially in the design and implementation of multi-site LANS and WANs
• Comprehensive experience of Cisco switching, Cisco Nexus 3k & 9k.
• Solid understanding of routing protocols including BGP\EIGRP\OSPF
• In-depth knowledge of wireless technologies with experience of global Aruba deployments
• In-depth experience with a leading Firewall technology Palo alto\Fortinet.
• Strong understanding of network security to implement Layer7 technologies
• Experience of MPLS network and VPN networks
• Knowledge of Solarwinds NPM & NTA, Cisco Prime,
• F5 LTM, GTM, APM and BIG-IP client.
