Key responsibilities:


· Support customers through their healthcare journey with clear advice.

· Handle lots of questions via phone, email and online with care and professionalism.

· Understand customer needs and set realistic expectations, including when to say no.

· Use multiple systems to update customer information quickly and accurately.

· Have sensitive conversations with empathy, staying calm and professional.

· Keep up with products, rules and company policies to give correct support.

· Always act in the best interest of the customer, considering their personal situation.


Work arrangements:


At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.


Working hours & shift pattern:


With our customers in mind, our phone lines are open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays and Bank Holidays. You’ll work 37.5 hours a week on a rota, and we offer a generous shift allowance as part of your pay. We support wellbeing and work-life balance, so you’ll know your shift patterns well in advance, helping you plan your week.


Induction & Training:


Induction Date: Thursday 10th September


We offer a Career Development Framework that is reviewed every six months with your manager, helping you see clear opportunities to grow. You’ll get full training and support to succeed, no matter your experience level. Once you’re settled in your role, you’ll also have the chance to study for a Chartered Institute of Insurers (CII) qualification, fully paid for and supported by AXA.


Your skills & experience:


· No experience needed. Whether you're starting out, changing sectors, or moving from retail or customer service to an office role, we want to hear from you!

· Eager to help others and learn new skills.

· Friendly, approachable and a good team player.

· Well-organised and able to manage multiple tasks.

· Good at communicating, both speaking and writing.

· Can use different systems easily and accurately.

· Calm and resilient, especially in tricky conversations.
