The Role of Area Sales Manager

• This is a field / home based Area Sales Manager role representing one of the most prestigious premium interiors brands in the market.
• The position is 100% account management, focused on developing and strengthening relationships with independent retailers, builders merchants, and specialist stockists across Scotland.
• You will work closely with business owners and branch managers, helping them grow their sales by enhancing the brand presence within their showrooms and retail environments. Using a consultative account management approach, you will support customers with product knowledge, merchandising, and showroom development.
• A key part of the role will involve maximising brand exposure within customer locations by ensuring effective product placement, display stands, and point-of-sale materials are in place. You will act as the face of the brand in your territory, building long-term partnerships and helping customers showcase a premium range to their end users.
• This is an autonomous role where you will manage your own territory, supported by excellent training and development from a leading manufacturer.

The Candidate for the Area Sales Manager role

We are looking for a professional, consultative sales individual who enjoys developing long-term customer relationships.

Suitable candidates may have:

• Experience selling branded interiors, home improvement, or building products into retailers, merchants, or distributors
• A background in field sales or customer-facing roles
•  Strong relationship-building and account management skills
• Professional when dealing with business owners and branch managers
• Commercially aware and capable of developing customer accounts
• Self-motivated and comfortable managing a regional territory

The Package for the Area Sales Manager

• Basic salary up to £47,000
•  20% OTE (realistic in year one)
• Hybrid company car
