An established precision engineering manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to join its growing machine shop. The business supplies high-quality machined components to a variety of industrial sectors and operates a modern machining facility with a range of CNC turning equipment. CNC turning is a key part of the company's manufacturing capability.

The Role

As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for:

• Setting and operating CNC Turning Centres.
• Producing components to tight tolerances and customer specifications.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Conducting in-process inspections using measuring equipment.
• Making tool offsets and minor program adjustments where required.
• Maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping, and health & safety.
• Working collaboratively with the wider production team to meet delivery schedules.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating and setting CNC lathes/turning centres.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience using inspection equipment including micrometers, verniers, and gauges.
• Strong understanding of machining principles and tolerances.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
